Sunday, October 1 through Friday, October 6 Tuesday night I flew to Omaha, Nebraska, for a missing adult training class. Fox Valley Technical College, The National Center For Missing Adults, and Project Jason hosted the training for law enforcement.Wednesday we began training the 25 law enforcement students. Most of the students were from Nebraska, but others came from as far away as Canada. I flew back to Austin on Thursday night. Saturday, October 9 through Tuesday, October 31 I flew to Germany for business reasons on Saturday, October 7 and returned to Austin on Thursday, October 19.Friday, October 20 and Saturday, October 21 the National Center for Missing Adults' Racing for the Missing sponsored 12 cars in the Irvingdale, California, NASCAR race. Four NASCAR divisions participated in the race. The Speed cable channel broadcasted the race Saturday night. Joe Pickett displayed Rachel's picture on his car's hood. His car was also equipped with cameras. Sunday, October 22 we had a M.U.S.T. self-defense and awareness class at the Southwest Austin YMCA. Twelve females attended the class. Rachel Alert Network will have a bake sale booth at the Georgetown Christmas Stroll again this year. We will need lots of baked good donations. The stroll is on Saturday, Decemener 2, 2006.
